Chris came to MLBC in August of 2001 as Associate Minister to Students. Before his move to the wonderland known as Mesquite he spent his days in south Texas followed by a four year stint in Brownwood Texas where he attended Howard Payne University, also known as the happiest place on earth. In May 2001, Chris graduated from Howard Payne with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages.

While at Howard Payne Chris spent his summers working at Zephyr Baptist Encampment where he met is wife of three years, Kristy. Kristy is not only a huge blessing to Chris, but also to his ministry here at Mimosa through her passion for girl's ministry.

Chris attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary after graduating from Howard Payne, and graduated in May 2005 with a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages. This summer Chris has made the transition from Associate Minister to Students to Minister to Students, and there is no place Chris would rather be than serving the students of MLBC. His passion is to see students come to know Christ, and devote their lives to His calling. His interests include watching and playing all sports, spending time with friends and family, and getting huge at Texas Gym.
